Not sure about what you want, but if you connect both terminals on a keyboard switch you just short circuit it and it register a permanently pressed button.

Keyboard switch are a pain with spade connectors(like on the second picture) there's no real way to connect them reliably.

  • You can solder a wire on each terminals of the keyboard switch then place a matching spade connector on the other side of the wire.
  • You can use a compatible circuit board for each switch like OBS-MX solution from Arcade Paradise Shop.
  • You can also create one big custom PCB for all your switches
  • You want to connect you switch without solder on it directly you can use Hot Swappable Sockets for keyboards
    • However you will need to solder wires on it before then plug your keyboard switch.
    • Because they are made to be surface mount components(SMD) en circuit boards.
    • Something like this(amazon link as example).
    • WARNING : there's several form factor for keyboard switch terminals be sure they are compatible.

All have Pros and Cons and i cant say which one is the best for you if I don't know how the keyboard switches will be hold in place and what tools you have.

Keyboard switches are engineered to be used on a circuit board. Using it without PCB is a kinda "Hacky" strategy.

PS: Conductive glue are really bad performers when you can solder. it's like using a knife for a slot screw. It can works but can damage the screw and the knife. Here the conductive glue can make bad connection thus making your keyboard switch unreliable.
