I hated the wigs that I tried on, and soft beanies were my go-to at home and to sleep in at night. But I took the opportunity (yay cancer?) to go crazy with inexpensive hats and realized that I liked wearing hats. I also have a small head and face, so dress up with cool sunglasses and feel like a movie star going incognito. Here are my favorites:

Bucket Hat Reversible, 100% cotton, very cool in hot weather

Doo Rags for the motorbike chick badass look

Panama Hat if the fit is too loose, wear a bandana under it and to disguise the baldness at the back of the head

Newsboy Cap (scarf optional) for a more ladylike look

I am now more than a year out and have my hair back but still enjoy my collection of hats. I wish all the best for you as you go through the rest of treatment. It will be a great feeling to put this all in your rearview mirror!
