I'm also pretty new to spinners. Have gotten maybe 8 pretty cheap ones so far. Best one yet was $6 from Amazon: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B071LTTTPM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'm probably going to spend $20 on a c3 pretty soon, since a lot of people seem to like that design. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B072LPF9XH/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I3M4BZD35OCRBM&colid=3UUYYKHC26KQ7

This one was actually my first non-plastic spinner: https://www.amazon.com/Apsung-Spinner-Tri-spinner-Minutes-Antiqued/dp/B06XCT29RX/ref=sr_1_6?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1505875859&sr=1-6&keywords=u13+spinner
The shape and weight is AMAZING. If it had a decent non-grumbly bearing, it'd be one of my fave tri-spinners, certainly above the zentri and very dapper (both of which are great)
