Is it worth the $55? I'm thinking of buying this so I don't get any complaints from my neighbors and can listen to the sub mini on a good volume without being scared

Do you think this would help my downstairs and next door neighbor from hearing my sub mini? I don't want to get any complaints so I need to be careful... what does 50% max mean? Is +1 on sub mini and surrounds the highest I should go?
