Nothing elegant, but I bought these from amazon and they work fine. Short so they are out of the way but long enough to allow me to pick up and fiddle with my phone if needed (when stopped): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074M83VD3/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I will use this post to tag on that on my 2019 I have had nothing but trouble with my wife's Pixel 2. It refuses to either stay connected or to connect at all. On a long road trip yesterday we accidentally plugged hers in first rather than let mine (Pixel 3 XL) connect to Android auto and it completely messed things up. It connected for 30 seconds, disconnected and then I couldn't even get mine to connect until I pulled over, turned the car off and let the head unit reset. Ugh.. it's been a nightmare. Before I got the 3XL I had some occasional trouble with my 2XL, but not to the same extent as my wife.
