I bought the "I'm a Girly" dolls from Amazon for around $12 each. I think they're beautiful and very high quality! I'm not an 18-inch doll collector, but these girls won me over!

They have inset eyes, rooted lashes, and removable wigs. The hair used on the wigs is very nice, but the rooting is a little odd. Their hair is thickly rooted but can tend to come to a point on top if not fussed with. You could also just get them different wigs.
