Stick to brands like SanDisk, Samsung and so on the big brands.

Sure a fake can slip by here and there however Amazon will make it right.

The official Switch SD cards are made by SanDisk and Just rebranded.

SanDisk 512GB Ultra MicroSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with Adapter - 120MB/s, C10, U1, Full HD, A1, Micro SD Card - SDSQUA4-512G-GN6MA https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GXXKY6P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_3ZCSZQWA9MGCBXWHGAGV?psc=1

Im betting you bought a memory scam file for a return.

Im betting if you try to upload more than 10-20gb to that thing it just say corrupted drive or not enough space.

It’s not hard to spoof a memory storage device.

I use these:

SanDisk 512GB Ultra MicroSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with Adapter - 120MB/s, C10, U1, Full HD, A1, Micro SD Card - SDSQUA4-512G-GN6MA https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GXXKY6P/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_Y7FDN1C792YRFKH9EJZR

They work great in phones and tablets. No issues whatsoever.

I have 30 days to return it. Is there a quick way to check how many total games there are available?

If I get a replacement card, is there a recommend minimum read speed? I was thinking something with 512gb so I could load more games that aren't included (like this https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-512GB-microSDXC-Memory-Adapter/dp/B08GXXKY6P/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1MV143X8ULGMZ&keywords=512gb+microsd+sandisk&qid=1665465024&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIxLjQ3IiwicXNhIjoiMC45NyIsInFzcCI6IjAuMDAifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=512gb+microsd+sandisk%2Caps%2C176&sr=8-1&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.08f69ac3-fd3d-4b88-bca2-8997e41410bb)

I see SanDisk Ultras are under $60 for 512gb. I also use Samsung's EVO line, which are often on sale. Looks like right now you can get their 512gb card for $58.99. These are $60-70 more often than not, but at least you'll save a little bit.

It's a Samsung brand card. It has approaching a 5 star average rating with around 15,000 reviews. Normal price for this size is $80 and it's temporarily on sale for $60, which is good (but not great, or outlandish to the point of being fishy).

I'd say you're good.

Edit to add: similar in price-to-size as this comparable SanDisk model. I got a 256gb last month for half this price (so the same ratio), fwiw. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GXXKY6P/
