I too am new, having joined the ranks just a couple of months ago.

This is what really got me pumped:

Painting: How to Paint a Black Templar Assault Intercessor by Ryan's Miniatures

I think all Space Marines units (EXCEPT THE LIBRARIANS) are available. But the others much more knowledgeable than me will let you know for sure.

I got the Black Templars Army Box and the Dark Angels Combat Patrol and other units to start building and painting. There's several videos on YouTube that will explain the best way to get started. And again, others with much more experience here will point you in the right direction.
