I've got two S.T. Duponts that don't work. I had a dual flame Zippo insert for an old Zippo that was okay but lost that over the summer. It only really worked after tweaking the spark, advice from someone on here. I've got a Vertigo that is a straight up turd.
My favorites were these el cheapos my B&M was carrying for about $3. Just a decent torch with a big reservoir so they lasted a couple of months before I'd need a new one. They quit carrying them and I unfortunately had to move on.
My buddy just got this and it's like a little Swiss Army knife of lighters. It's heavy and has a good flame. The included cigar poker/draw enhancer is probably what makes this price actually worth it. There's a brand called PerfecDraw that as far as I can tell is expensive and it's just the poker. Anyway, having one of these pokers will save you money in the long run. It can take an unsmokable stick and make it alright so you don't have to throw it out. Think about getting three $10 cigars that just don't smoke, and I've done more than that between Avos(which I still like) and La Palinas(which I've moved on from because of quality issues) and throwing them out. With this lighter and the included poker to open up the cigars the lighter pays for itself just after those three.
As I look now it looks like there are cheaper draw enhancer tools. And also other lighters that come with them. I guess either way I recommend getting an draw enhancer as well as a lighter.
