I have had the B4K (20220113_V015) for a few days now purchased via amazon. It is super MEH and seems to leave a lot to be desired. I watched a bunch of sample videos on youtube.. they all looked surprisingly good for the price. I am not getting them results at the moment. Everything is slightly blurry unless the conditions are perfect and I notice everything has this weird glow to it more often than not.
Current config. Front + Back cam with CPL filter. 1440p front 1080p back. 30fps. Didnt tweak exposure/sensor setting.
Everything seems to have this weird glow.
When conditions are just right it looks pretty good!
Night time driving on highway.. seems useless?
Really cant see much at night.
Dusk.
Dusk can barely see people 10 ft in front of me.
Other notes. When the card got full it just flashed a red error on screen. Did not loop as currently configured. (Card was initially formatted by the dashcam.)

Here is the adapter which intercepts power running to the rearview mirror. It has no adverse effect on the use of any features or buttons on the mirror.
Here's what it looks like after install.
I used a drill bit to bore out a relief in the plastic that covers the wiring. I also got a pair of 90° USB elbow cables and used one of them for the short run from the adapter to the camera.
