I am looking to purchase curtains to use as a space divider between an entranceway and some rooms.
The hall space the curtains will need to cover is 8 feet high (96 inches) and 51 inches wide.
I would like the curtains to restrict light, air, and sound as much as possible so they should be thermal insulating, sound reducing, and close to 100% blackout curtains.
Right now I an leaning towards either a RYB or a Nicetown set of curtains on Amazon.
I believe both sets of curtains are two layered polyester with a removable felt layer between them.
I would prefer grommets for attaching to a rod.
Here are the Amazon links to the ones I am leaning towards.
NICETOWN Full Shading Curtains for Windows, Super Heavy-Duty Noise Absorb Lined Blackout Curtains for Bedroom, Privacy Assured Window Treatment for Hotel (White, 2 PCs, 52 inches W x 95 inches L) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081QXY9RL/
RYB HOME Soundproof Blackout Thermal Insulating 3 in 1 Set Curtains 3 Layers Heavy Grommet Curtains for Bedroom Living Room Divider Curtains High Ceiling Window, Pure White, 52 x 108 inches, 2 Pcs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B419DCT/
I am open to any suggestions as to why I should buy one rather than the other.
I am also open to suggestions for any other curtains that I should buy instead of these two sets.
I am also open to suggestions about the best length and width for the curtains that I should be looking to purchase.
I was thinking that I should buy curtains that are at least 40 inches wide or 80 inches wide in total and at least 100 inches long.
The space the curtains will be in has light toned wood floors and white walls and ceilings.
I was leaning towards white curtains but was also considering grey or silver grey curtains as well.
I would be willing to spend up to $150.
