FWIW, unless you have air conditioning, I'd recommend you try a "bikini" top before investing in everything you will need for the full soft top setup.
Full soft tops can get pretty toasty when parked and the access to the bed can be a hassle at times.
Bikinis keep most of the sun AND bird poop off your seats and it is like sitting on a bench in the shade ~ the best part is that there is no waiting for the cab to cool off when you jump in. However if you need the bed in the shade to protect groceries or whatever, this is probably not for you.
