Just grabbed one.
There are two good ones. The AA Wireless one that was a Kickstarter, and the Motorola one.
Both work great.
If one isn't your cup of tea, return and try the other.
The Motorola one can be bought at local stores, too.

The Motorola one was discounted earlier in January and I bought it at Target for my wife's 2022 Honda Accord. It's perfect.

It's interesting that Ben Schoon didn't like Motorola's as much as the AA Wireless one, most other reviews love it.

I just received the Motorola MA1, which appears to be similar. I have a similar situation where once in a while I have to unplug/plug the unit to get it to initialize properly, but overall, it's been a nice device and I much prefer the Bluetooth wireless connection over a physical cable
The one issue I have yet to spend time troubleshooting/resolving is when the Leaf headend unit connects to my spouse's phone before mine. At that stage, I haven't figured out how to "toggle" everything over to my phone instead.
