My office has official engineering pads for hand calcs that are going to be kept for record, but for my own calcs I use Roaring Spring Buff Paper #95182. It's been a long time since I've found affordable single-packs of it, so a couple years back I gave in an bought it in bulk.

Why not just use another type of paper? Honestly, at this point it's just me being unreasonable and resistant to change. Live the stereotype.
