I got a pack and play and absolutely love it! I wound up getting a mattress topper that fits snug and adds a little comfort - my baby hated the bassinet part - too stiff - but happily sleeps in the crib with the topper. The diaper changing station is really nice to have especially for middle of the night changes. The whole thing sits right next to my bed so I don’t have to physically leave for anything overnight which I think helps keep baby down. My brother used our pack and play for his newborn when he visited and their baby slept happily in the bassinet attachment. So I think I just have a picky sleeper.
