So I used PET Boston round bottles with 24 mm opening with 410 thread/pitch. Often labeled as 24-410 or 24x410 etc.
I was having a hard time finding a high quality 24mm foil liner that I didn't have to buy 1000 of. Ended up just buying some black caps that came lined with SG-90 foil liner.
Because I wanted to use twist caps, I filled the bottles, then twisted on the foil liner caps, induction sealed them, then took the black caps off and then twisted on the proper twist to open caps.
I would like to get lift-n-peel type foil liner in the future but this will do for now.
This is what my invoices looked like.
BA08 8 oz Clear PET Boston Round 24-410 ($0.53 each)

L121 24-410 Black Ribbed Lid w/SG-90 Foil Liner ($0.14 each)

P7725 24/410 Black & Natural Yorker Twist Open Top ($0.23 each)
So 90 cents per unit if not accounting for shipping and handling. I bought the first two locally.
The induction sealer was bought on Amazon for $128. I cranked it up to high power and only ran it for 1.5 seconds per bottle.

EDIT: I guess I should also mention that these are not rated for hot fill method. I had to use a higher quality ph meter to make sure I was in a good range, cooked the sauce and let it cool then used StarSan food grade sanitizer to sanitize the bottles and lids before filling.
