There are people who switched to these from their super expensive custom-molded super fancy earplugs. It's no surprise: this manufacturer has been in the hearing aid business for 55 years.
I switched to these from the Hearos High Fidelity earplugs. There's nothing wrong with the Hearos High Fidelity earplugs, but the Earasers are significantly better. They work exactly as advertised. There are no exaggerations.
They're $40 from Amazon, and you can get a free premium crush-proof and water-proof case: https://www.amazon.com/Earasers-Hi-Fi-Fidelity-Earplugs-Medium/dp/B01L4LKQK2 (the cap screws on and off)
The case is an 8th of an inch shy of 2 inches, and it's precisely 1 inch wide and it comes with a keyring on it, but of course you can remove it and use something else like a string or one of those beaded metal strings.
Earasers are the best I've worn without going custom. They feel a bit weird at first but are comfortable after they sit in your ears and warm up a bit.
