TIPS:
This grabber is amazing. It picks up PILLS. Pills! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XH4ZZL9/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apip_HvHnSqLvhpglU
The things I felt would be easier were a little bit harder (thinking clearly while on drugs, logrolling...ok I did think that would be hard). Some things were easier than I thought they would be, e.g. getting dressed. I had no idea what it is but it works like a charm. Here's one I magically found on Amazon. They gave it to me in the hospital. It is a clothes aid that doubles as a shoe horn.
Also, here's the roll of inexpensive real 3M TEGADERM (relatively inexpensive to buying boxes of small pieces that don't fit--I gladly paid $40): https://www.amazon.com/TEGADERM-TRANS-FILM-4IN-11YD/dp/B00B9BZPEA/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=tegaderm+roll&qid=1619860410&s=hpc&sr=1-4
And of course there's the famous sock helper. I've found it helps to pull it up towards you at a 45 degree angle to get your heel in there).
She lives across the country but I did see someone recommend a grabber like this: https://www.amazon.com/Grabber-FitPlus-Premium-Reacher-Warranty/dp/B06XH4ZZL9/ref=asc_df_B06XH4ZZL9/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167132090312&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14778113340912854320&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1027536&hvtargid=pla-307404760226&psc=1
Would that have helped?
