I bought the Hamilton Beach Set n' Forget 6 quart and love it. It is currently the #1 slow cooker on Amazon. Right now its at $49.99, but I got it for $28 around Christmas time. I have used it many times without a problem. It also has a temperature probe that allows you to cook food to a certain temperature.
Hamilton Beach programmable Set N Forget is around 50 dollars
I have the digital model and I could not be happier with it.
So, would a pressure cooker be worth it for Cuisinart CPC-600 1000-Watt 6-Quart Electric Pressure Cooker compared to Hamilton Beach Set n' Forget 6 quart

That's the one I bought. Not super cheap, no, but still completely worth it.
I have this one but in white. I love it cause I set it for an amount of time while I'm at work or busy on a saturday. When the timer runs out, it just switches over to warm until I'm ready to eat. I also like the clamping lid because I use it to make a lot of things that I bring to others' houses for parties and whatnot. That being said, you're going to be paying for the "bells and whistles" as disussed in other posts.
