Hey y’all, long time longboarder here (8-9 years) 220 lbs

I just got a new build with:

  • Loaded Dervish Sama Flex 1

  • Bear Gen 5 Trucks

  • Venom HPF 95a duro (double barrel bushing)

  • Bones Red Swiss bearings

  • Orangutan In Heat Purples

I’ve always used Bones Speed Cream for the entirety of my “career” of longboarding. But I’ve been wanting to shy away from it in favor for different “higher grade” oils. I’ve had a few in mind notes below:

What are y’all thoughts? Recommendations and opinions are welcomed!

If you're in the US, they're readily available online. Here's a link to the same pen that Yomega used to rebrand as Brain lube.

https://www.amazon.com/Super-Lube-51010-Oil/dp/B000BXOGHY/ref=asc_df_B000BXOGHY/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=198077680239&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12556368917386490032&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9027596&hvtargid=pla-379802414604&psc=1

If you're not in the US or just want to find a more common substitute, mineral oil and baby oil work well too. If you want your bearings extra responsive, then you can apply a tiny amount (about the size of a pin head) of silicone grease or petroleum jelly to the bearing.
