They do a bit up and down. It takes more force than it did stock, which just freely wobbled, but its not tight enough fit that it completely restricts movement (you don't want it like that anyways). it ill not wobble in and out, if that makes sense.

These are the ones I used. Its a perfect fit for this project. Just put the long side against the back lip. You can use the adhesive or you don't have to. You can also flip the shelves or take off the cork. I took off the cork, otherwise with taller minis they will hit the shelf above it.
