As someone who broke two thermistors replacing mine, I highly recommend the ones that simply screw in if you are not buying a new complete hotend.
I have this specific one and it will be going on the next time I have to do any kind of real maintenance work.
I like Gulfcoast Robotics's hex thermistor. From an electrical standpoint it's the same kind of thermistor that comes with the machine, so you don't need to change the firmware. But it attaches to the block in a completely different way: you take out the retaining screw, then screw the thermistor into the hple the retaining screw used to go in. You can't overtighten the screw since you don't use the screw anymore, and since the new thermistor is encased in metal it's much harder to break.
