Anker is generally a reputable brand but I avoided their USB-C hub adapter after seeing many [Amazon reviews](https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Upgraded-Delivery-Pixelbook-A83460A2/dp/B07ZVKTP53/) complaining of destroyed ports. The issue with these adapters seems not to be with the adapter ports but with the "Power Delivery" (often labeled as "PD") ports that allow you to feed a charge through the adapter to your MacBook.

Can you link the USB hub you have?

Absolutely!

I got it for my Steam Deck. Works great with it too!

EDIT: Forgot mention, used a bluetooth K&M and it worked well too!

I use one of these, though you could probably use any USB-C hub with power delivery.

I use this one. It has two USB C ports but only one charges so you have to make sure you use the correct one.

Search Amazon for a Samsung Dex Hub and you will have many options.

It will be a USB hub with various USB C and A options depending on the hub. Likely have a sdcard reader, HDMI out, etc etc.

Make sure they have a power input.

Something like this.

You can connect mouse and keyboard via the hub or if you have a mouse and keyboard that's Bluetooth and doesn't require a dongle, you can pair directly to your phone.

Meant to link the actual items:

This hub, for example.

This extension, for example.

Oh, using USB-A adapters probably add unecessary tension and weight on the port. My laptop have both USB-C and USB-A ports so I don't use those adapters.

In that case, a USB-C hub from a known brand could probably help you

Edit: something like that: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Upgraded-Delivery-Pixelbook-A83460A2/dp/B07ZVKTP53/

Some might have morr USB-A ports if you need more

I’m a newbie (playing since December), so take this for what it’s worth, but this is my very setup. Works well for me.

I’m playing on an Alesis Nitro Mesh kit.

  • iPad Pro USB-C connected to USB-C Hub.
  • USB from Alesis control unit to USB port on Hub.
  • USB Audio adapter on second USB port on Hub. I either plug in headphones or amp to the audio output on the adapter.

GarageBand works great with this setup.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have questions

The PCIe card, no. Wifi streaming, yes.

I'm doubtful that Y spliiter you have will work since the headset will need usb 3.0.
Another option to try is a Powered USB-C dock like this one.

Currently using the jsaux hub at my in-laws. Nice and compact hub if you want to play on a tv away from home. I also have the jsaux dock that I've put over 40hrs on without issue. Anker has pretty compact 45W brick that I use at home and on the go.
