i have a small one like what you describe and a large one. while i like the smaller profile with the small one, there’s definitely less pain when i wear the large one. tbh i’d buy 2 of them if you can afford it. mine got gross after a few months but i’m about to get the surgery in a month so i don’t really see the point of buying more braces.
