As I understand it now, there is the phantom 1, the v1.2, the 1.1.1, and the phantom2. Also the fc-40 which is basically the phantom 1 with a stock camera. I have a v1.2, and can't find the right replacement transmitter for it, so I'm just returning the whole thing. This transmitter wouldn't bind with the v1.2, I think it's for the older model, note the white hash marks by the control sticks. This must be for the model before the v1.2. The transmitter for the 1.1.1 comes with a pitch control lever installed. I wish they would specify these differences and what is compatible with what.

Dude, just get ahold of amazon, they have great customer service, my transmitter quit working, and I'm in the process of returning it now. I was even 3 days past the 30 day return window, and I asked if they would please waive those 3 days and they did, full refund. Now I just have to wait and see how much money they refund me, cause I bought the transmitter with the phantom (of coarse) so I'm not sure how they will figure the amount. Those transmitters you posted are the cheapest, but you have to pay shipping, so it ends up being about the same as the amazon one. Now, I have the model that came right before the 1.1.1. (I just call it a 1 cause I'm not sure what it's supposed to be called, but it's not the very first one that came out that had the throttle stick that wasn't springloaded to return to the center position) anyway, I'm not sure if this transmitter is compatible with the 1.1.1. Also, you could get a new switch and solder it in, if you are so inclined. The stock switches are cheap I noticed, break easily. Radioshack should have one that will work.
