I am a sponge when it comes to book recommendations. I love to read.

Unenchanted by Chanda Hahn - Mina Grime is unlucky, unpopular and uncoordinated, that is until she saves her crushes life on a field trip, changing her High School status from loser to hero overnight. But with her new found fame brings misfortune in the form of an old family curse come to light. For Mina is descended from the Brothers Grimm and has inherited all of their unfinished fairy tale business. Which includes trying to outwit a powerful Story from making her it's next fairytale victim.

To break the fairy tale curse on her family and make these deadly occurrences stop, Mina must finish the tales until the very Grimm end. --I didn't think I would like this one, but I breezed through it with a kid going through his terrible twos lol.

Rot and Ruin by Jonathan Maberry - In the zombie-infested, post-apocalyptic America where Benny Imura lives, every teenager must find a job by the time they turn fifteen or get their rations cut in half. Benny doesn't want to apprentice as a zombie hunter with his boring older brother Tom, but he has no choice. He expects a tedious job whacking zoms for cash, but what he gets is a vocation that will teach him what it means to be human. -- I love zombies and this is the first book in a series. I read all three books in three days while working a full time job and being a mommy. Loved them. The fourth comes out in August.

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen - Though he may not speak of them, the memories still dwell inside Jacob Jankowski's ninety-something-year-old mind. Memories of himself as a young man, tossed by fate onto a rickety train that was home to the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth. Memories of a world filled with freaks and clowns, with wonder and pain and anger and passion; a world with its own narrow, irrational rules, its own way of life, and its own way of death. The world of the circus: to Jacob it was both salvation and a living hell.

Jacob was there because his luck had run out—orphaned and penniless, he had no direction until he landed on this locomotive "ship of fools." It was the early part of the Great Depression, and everyone in this third-rate circus was lucky to have any job at all. Marlena, the star of the equestrian act, was there because she fell in love with the wrong man, a handsome circus boss with a wide mean streak. And Rosie the elephant was there because she was the great gray hope, the new act that was going to be the salvation of the circus; the only problem was, Rosie didn't have an act—in fact, she couldn't even follow instructions. The bond that grew among this unlikely trio was one of love and trust, and ultimately, it was their only hope for survival. -- So much better the movie and any time someone asks for recommendations I always recommend this. One of my all time favorite books.

Dark Lover by J.R. Ward - In the shadows of the night in Caldwell, New York, there's a deadly turf war going on between vampires and their slayers. There exists a secret band of brothers like no other-six vampire warriors, defenders of their race. Yet none of them relishes killing more than Wrath, the leader of The Black Dagger Brotherhood. The only purebred vampire left on earth, Wrath has a score to settle with the slayers who murdered his parents centuries ago. But, when one of his most trusted fighters is killed-leaving his half-breed daughter unaware of his existence or her fate-Wrath must usher her into the world of the undead-a world of sensuality beyond her wildest dreams. -- I didn't think I'd like these books at all, but I heard so much about them so I bought the first book and I'm hooked. They are sexy and addicting...just how I like them. ;)

As far as Nora Roberts goes I loved Midnight Bayou. Just someting about the cajun feel of New Orleans mixed with the supernatural...I couldn't put it down.

I also recommend, like many others here, The Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin. Arya is by far my favorite character so far. Just something about that little girl is so badass...

As far as my wishlist, goes...I have been wanting to try this stuff for a long time...it may be all a gimmick, but it's just so damn cute! http://www.amazon.com/Holika-Aqua-Petit-jelly-Cream/dp/B008F5D4Y6/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=2AUDBB93Q8PDY&coliid=IFOIZ77AS1BVC
