Also just throwing this out there but what type of TV do you have? Many TVs now have optical audio outs on them so you can just plug your optical into the TV itself rather than needing any kind of device in between the console and the TV to split the audio signal.
I wasnt sure that would be kosher since Astro also sells one and this is technically competition but I bought this one that claims its good up to 4K/60, I play on a 1080p monitor so Im more interested in 1080/120 and it seems to handle that just fine I've noticed ZERO video lag of any kind.

Unfortunately. The PS5 came out after the a50 gen 4 and the usb connection doesn’t provide sound. You’ll need to use the optical in on the base station and the usb connection will work for your voice chat
