My first had the seal come out, between the rear glass and frame. Just 10 days after ownership. Got a brand new replacement (got to keep all original accessories). One I'm currently using works fine. But it started peeling near the bottom. So I took it off. 3 weeks later. I have SCRATCHES all over the screen. Not noticeable when screen is on. But when actually looking for them. I have like 6 or 7. Phones only been in empty pockets, and never placed on its face, or near sand. At first it was just 2 or 3. I seem to be picking up new scratches daily.

The glass Scratches SUPER easy. I don't give a fuck what the test show. Other than that. Phone is really nice. Don't know why companies feel all glass cell phones is a good thing. At least the essential phone has a titanium build. I originally thought my phone would at least hold up, till I got a replacement protector. But it just took a matter of days. Not easily noticeable. But annoying none the less.

You can look into a Skin of sorts to hold the back together for the time being. A clear one may make it look cool. Assuming it has a sort of cool look to it. Sorry about that happening OP. but I agree, it's a great device. But build quality is sorta iffy.
