If there is a specific item that you've had your eye on for a while, you might try searching for it on Amazon.
Usually if I see something that I like a random online store, I see what the price is on Amazon. For example, on some old swimsuit thread Esther Williams was recommended and a link included to a non-amazon vintage site and a link to Modcloth where the swimsuit was about $90. I looked it up on amazon and I got the swimsuit for $60
This wouldn't work if you're looking for a specific sweater from J Crew or some skater dress on ASOS or F21, but if you're looking for a staple of some kind you might try and see if you can find it for a good price on Amazon (ie american apparel has a lot of staples like bralettes and tees on there).
And, it's probably not strictly a fashion accessory, but Amazon has some really fun umbrellas too. I think that a cute umbrella can be a way to incorporate some pizzazz into a practical item. Sunflower umbrella sky umbrella bird cage umbrella
