The platter wobble and also inconsistent or incorrect speed is typical of the low quality of that type of turntable that have the same cheap toy quality $5 mechanism as found on a suitcase player.
If you want precision, better quailty control, better playback and better sound quality then consider returning it and spending more for a better component turntable starting at $105 that will have a better platter, a better tonearm, a diamond tip stylus on a better MM moving magnet cartridge and an RIAA phono preamp.
