The cover art is by Hokyoung Kim, she’s an amazing artist and you absolutely should check out her Instagram page.

As for the story, it’s called “Slow Rotator”, it’s a sci-fi/psychological horror novella set in a dystopian city forced into lockdown years ago by a horrific but mysterious disease (yes, recent events *may* have inspired the story). It’s available on Amazon and it’s free til the end of the day, so feel free to check it out!

Here’s the blurb:

“His flat was dying just like the city had died years ago. Left rotting, kept artificially alive by locked doors, drones and doctors. His home was dying, the city was dead, and there was only one way to escape it all.”

Like millions of other people, Satoru has been locked in his flat for years. Outside rages a plague, a disease nobody understands and some deny is even real. Satoru can’t leave, and waits for the government to finally announce the Slow Rotator Syndrome has been eradicated and life can go back to normal. The AI specialist never doubted he would see that day. Until his flat began to change. Until he started to question his own sanity. Until he realized he’d be ready to do anything to run away…

Hey guys !

So this is more of a self-promotion post than a critique request (though of course I'll appreciate all feedback): I just published "Slow Rotator", a 18,000 words sci-fi/psychological horror novella set in a dystopian city forced into lockdown years ago by a horrific but mysterious disease (yes, recent events may have inspired the story). You can find the blurb down below.

It's on Amazon, and it's free for the next two days!

The blurb:

It's already published but as I said I would appreciate all feedback, about the novella itself or the presentation, cover, blurb, etc. Thanks!
