Oof… something similar happened to my mom’s beagle while we were out to dinner. We all got home and it looked like a crime scene! All from a pretty tiny nick on his ear! But yes he kept shaking and it would bleed all over again.

Long story short, we called the vet. They told us to apply “firm but not too firm” pressure till it stops then hit it with brush on Liquid Bandage. Reapply daily for 2-3 days. And voila! No more CSI mom’s house crime scenes!

Ps. Liquid bandage does sting, so holding them and accounting for flinching may make it a team effort the first time. Shouldn’t really sting after the initial application. 🍀🍀🍀
