Hi!

I have a Behringer U-Phoria UMC202HD since a couple of years, but for my audio needs (output audio for games, movies and so forth) I use the traditional output of my PC's integrated audio card. Now I would like to use my Behringer instead.

My understanding is that it has 2 balanced 1/4 inch TRS outputs which I can use to connect a monitor, I've seen several monitors in different price ranges even some with a subwoofer, but I'm not sure which ones are compatible with such output because I could get ones with a smaller TRS input, what should I look for?

Also, as I said, some of these come in bundles with a subwoofer, I'm interested in having a setup that includes a subwoofer, but my understanding is that my Behringer wouldn't allow for this because I only have 2 balanced 1/4 inch TRS outputs, I have discovered, however, that some subwoofers not only have 2 balanced 1/4 inch inputs but also outputs like this Mackie CR8S-XBT Tabletop Studio Subwoofer, what's the function of those 2 balance outputs in the subwoofer? Do they connect to compatible monitors and work the same way as a Logitech Z533 2.1? (I mention those Logitech because my current audio setup is something like that model of Logitech)

Final question: do I need something between the monitors and my Behringer? Any recommendation?

Also: I'm looking to integrate a KVMP in setup to connect several machines to the same set of mouse, keyboard and monitors. Is there any consideration I should have with using my Behringer for all my sound needs in any N-set of machines?
