So I just turned it back on and it didn't charge the laptop at all even though the charging light indicator was on.

Not being able to charge with this battery pack isn't a deal breaker for me, more of a slight inconvenience. I think what I might just do is purchase the Powercore from Anker to see if the 45 Watts is enough to trigger charging on the laptop and use that when I take my laptop with me and use the Jackery one when I'm just using my phone.

It seems kind of expensive especially since I already have the sleeve from HP and for the fact that charging via USB-C isn't mandated for me. Also, first gen products from kickstarters are sort of sketch (see Eve V)

I love the concept of it being able to be controlled by an app. If my power bank was able to do that, then maybe it would resolve the issue. If this sleeve was from a more reputable company such as Anker and was priced ~$70 it would be a definitive buy, but for now I think I'll hold off.

I also just remembered that my school allows students to check out this Power Bank for free daily. It has a 70W USB-C output and I just bought a 60W USB-C cable from Anker. When I get back to school, I should have a definitive answer of whether or not this laptop will take in input from a USB-C Power Bank. If it does, then all I need to carry to school is the USB-C cable and the Jackery Power Bank.
