My source is entirely anecdotal; the first time I did slow carb I noticed an increase in weight loss after I added PAGG. Could this have been a placebo effect? Definitely.
I use the PAGG stack pills from New Health Solutions, and I might try the ones from Pareto next, but with the former being $2/day and the latter $3/day, it might not be worth the extra pound or so a week.
