I have had good luck with the braided anker brand charging cords. They are super durable and last a very long time. I also like that they come in 6ft which is my preference over the stock charger length.

Charge at the same exact speed and reliability as a regular Apple cable? I like the fact these are longer cables and I can get (2) for the same price as 1 short apple cable.
