Thanks!! I think those are all mattes, but hers looks glossy - am i dumb or just an amateur? (both are absolutely likely, i admit)

Also maybe i'm a cheapskate but is $25 lipstick really worth it?? I've always gotten whatever looks okay by the usual drug store brands (ok, so we've established: i am definitely an amateur). But of course i realize this color may be well beyond what i'd find at Target and CVS and the like.

EDIT: What about Maybelline Deepest Cherry or Nyx Opinionated or Elf Wine Tour? Do those look kinda close? Everything just looks flat to me, but hers has a depth to it, if that makes sense.
