Yea that's probably the right call. I currently have my work laptop, windows laptop, and a micro dell PC in my work area, and I was obsessed with making it efficient, and clean. I wasted money on two $80 KVM switches before I realized the cheapest decent KVM is like ~$400. Now I just have a $30 usb switch and manually switch my monitor's inputs and its the perfect setup.
