I own that light and it is not very bright at all, I'd say a Chemlight is brighter. Though, As others have mentioned, except for specific situations and really poor viz, you don't normally want a super bright strobe and they can get annoying to your buddies if it's always in thier field of view. I only really ever use strobes on some boat dives when the operator requires everyone have one. Otherwise proper light management with a primary and backup torch should be sufficient.
