I've been wanting to try the GameSir X2 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08H7MBRYQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_1YV4NCZRJMB7RBN05HB2
On one hand, no, having to handle a controller and the phone at the same time is a total pain. On the other hand I basically do the same thing when using my Switch nowadays because all my joycons drift (or are being repaired by Nintendo) and the stand popped off.
Honestly been thinking of getting one of those controller phone holders, or even something like this to solve the problem, but I already look like a total dweeb on the train to work, I don't need to make it worse. Lol
I doubt it because according to GSM Arena, the length is 169.5mm and thickness is 10.9mm. According to the amazon page the Gamesir can only hold a maximum of 167mm and thickness of 1cm(aka 10mm), so even without an LG Wing case it wouldn't fit. Now whether their QC is good and it might fit is a different story....All I'll say is that I doubt it :(
Actually the Bang Good listing says 173mm.....but the phone is still too thick by about 1mm.
Just found this answer from amazon product questions and it kind of reaffirms what I just said:
"Q: Will this fit the LG Wing? A: It kinda fits. The usb-c port on the wing is on the bottom stack of the phone, so it will plug in. But because it's a thicker than normal phone it won't hold it to securely. By Sparrow on April 27, 2021"
ALSO their website says this:
"Is it compatible with xx mobile phone ?
The length of the mobile phone is less than 167 mm, and the 2021 version needs to be less than 173 mm. Android phones using Android 10 system can support it without a case."
Verdict: I think the amazon answer is most accurate. You would also need to make sure you get the 2021 version and even then it won't fit nicely.
Consider getting the Gamesir x2 controller https://www.amazon.com/GameSir-X2-Controller-Android-Samsung/dp/B08H7MBRYQ/ref=sr_1_3?crid=10LGAV2T0N0DR&keywords=gamesir+x2&qid=1674776322&sprefix=gamesir+x2%2Caps%2C1481&sr=8-3
very nice build quality imo
