If warmth and comfort is what you're looking for, I got a pair of Columbia boots for Christmas a couple of years ago - basically these - the Minx Mid Omni Heat boot (mine are a diff color and probably an older style in general but still have the faux fur and stuff). They are the greatest winter boot I've ever had, although to be fair my previous boots were mainly clunky ones with the rubber up to the ankle that kids wear. These things are super lightweight and very warm - my feet get sweaty in them if I wear them indoors sometimes. My only complaint is that after a couple of years (might be 3-4 years? Idk, what is time) they're starting to get kind of leaky around the toe so they're not great in wet snow or slush.
I slide them on and don't even need to tie the laces. I've used them to go on hour-long walks on hiking paths and through snow, and they're comfortable for that kind of trek (my toe rubs in one spot after a while but idk if that's the boot's fault). There's no rubbing because the fabric is so flexible, but it also clings well so it's not like it's sliding around.
So, definitely a winter boot, but they're awesome.
