The Deity S-Mic 2 is a very close copy of the 416 and it costs $360 (just over 300 euros). Every video comparison I've seen can barely even tell the difference. This would fit on their budget, but it leaves very little to work with for good noise suppression, though they can probably make it work with some cheap amazon windscreens until they save up for a blimp. Cheap boompoles(again talking amazon's cheapest here) are very annoying to work with but at their worst they're just an inconvenience. So yeah, save up is good advice, but in case they really want to get something right now here's my suggestion:
Boom: Deity S-Mic 2
Boompole: Cheapest Amazon find
Wind Protection: Another Amazon find (Make sure it's the right length)
For a grand total of about 367 euros. Sure it's not a fantastic setup but now you got a decent mic and something to hold it up with!
