We added the padded rear seat cover, rear seatback protector, rear bumper cover, and cargo tray. I also added the cargo cover, and splash guards since we take the dogs out into the desert all the time. I bought Weathertech floor liners because I have them in my 2010 Forester and I love them so much better than the OEM mats. Plus, we bought rear door protectors and a center console protector from Amazon.

We have 3 dogs (and are getting a 4th). One of our dogs is my service dog that goes everywhere with me. We figured out on my Forester where the wear and tear happens with the dogs and made sure we started with protection in those places right at the beginning! I'm really happy with the seat protector, it fits perfectly! I've been through so many on my Forester that just kind of half-ass fit and I wanted the one that was made specifically for the car this time. Not exactly cheap at $229, but worth it IMO.
