A lot of miners seem to like zip ties, but I've been using twist ties on my rigs for ages. Not leftover ones from loaves of bread, but the garden kind that come in a long roll like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WQGIN46 My roll is from a dollar store and 150 feet was $2.50

The advantages are less waste since you can cut just the right amount, plus they are infinitely adjustable. Sometimes zip ties won't get quite snug enough (depending what you're doing). With twist ties you just twist a little more.
