Good question! Unfortunately it appears to only be 2.25" at the max (just measured it). However, I wouldn't let that stop you if you like the mic as stands that fit that kind of desk at hard to come by in general. I'd take a look at some cheap desk stands like this one (which comes with a screw that's compatible with the shock mount: https://www.amazon.com/InnoGear-Upgraded-Adjustable-Microphone-Snowball/dp/B07F82BPLV/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=mic+stand+desk&qid=1598671591&sr=8-
Though a floor stand will off far better flexibility.
That will only work for 1 person. How many daughters will be recording with you?
For up to 4 people, this is a good interface:
Use ocenaudio to record without issues.
And these microphones will be fine:
You’ll need some cheap mic stands and you’ll be all set.
Put the mics in the stands, plug the mics into the interface, plug the interface into the computer, adjust the gain, and press record in ocenaudio.
