You mentioned your starting school I haven’t done A&P school in 15 years but when I went I was given a basic tool list of what you’ll need for school and it was similar at the time to what many places were requiring of mechanics for work. You don’t need these in those list and a lot of specialty tools that you will acquire will also not be in many list, as you progress thru your aviation career you’ll slowly add to your toolbox like many of us do and you’ll also make your own tooling for special projects 😉 so don’t feel like you need to buy the best now especially if your starting out and going to school, if you can get by with the minimum required then do that and then slowly when your able go adding the good stuff. Now if your able to purchase thousands of dollars in tooling and are in a good position financially then have at it go for broke and buy all the goodies haha
