People still used hard drives when these exist?

Edit: I guess everyone needs 16tb HDD for their gaming rigs, I'll see my self out.

Is your stepmania on the ssd? I was having screen tearing and poor framerates until I moved my game install from HDD to SSD, and everything got magically better. If you don’t have one this seems to be good and cheap
