I have an LG OLED g2, Apple TV, and Xbox Series X. I want arc from my apple TV to my two homepods. I want 4k120hz from my Xbox + Dolby. So I am weighing two options, the first being to get two splitters, linked below, then just run each unit to a splitter, 1 output to the TV, and another output to the Sync Box. ATV and Xbox to Sync box, I suppose I don't need even to use the Sync output., Apple TV HDMI wire 2 to HDMI 2 as the eARC port, and Xbox HDMI wire 2 to HDMI 3.
The other option is to get a splitter for the Xbox and just buy an extra Apple TV. Apple TV #1 stays in HDMI 2 (eARC) permanently, and Xbox goes to splitter -> Sync & TV. Apple TV #2 -> Sync -> TV.
Does this splitter look like it will work with my theory on how to get around the HDMI 2.0 vs. 2.1 issues for Sync Box? The price seems too good to be true.
Just a cheap amazon switch. It has to be manually pressed to choose outputs.
