cocoa coir is just coconut fiber. It's non nutritious which is why it's a great substrate for new growers and even some established growers. Also, it needs to be pasteurized by you, the grower, either with boiling water or put in the oven.

But if you're really paying ~$4 for 3 bricks of 650g of coir then that is a steal and worth it.

I'm looking online for this very product and seeing prices closer to $20-$30 which is overpriced like I assumed

Here is 5 bricks of 650g coir for $21.59 and 10 for $28.79

Super expensive, but I’d you don’t have the time and have the money go for it.

I use these Coco Coir Bricks exclusively with no additives or amendments and get great results. I have tried many others and love the volume I get per brick, perfect for 56qt tube.

All I do is pop a brick in a small cooler, pour about 4 liters of boiling water over it a leave it covered in the cooler over night. Once it’s temp is down to 80ish I toss it in my tub, add my spawn and it’s go time.

Plantonix - this is the best coir I’ve found on amazon.

I’ve tried quite a few of them, and I have achieved the best results with this as well as I like working with it the most.
