I received very similar messages. I declined to purchase something in advance with a promise to be repaid later. Seemed sketchy.
EDIT: Including conversation. Like /u/danbronson said, I think this is a scam - principally because the link sent goes to a Luxbird product and not Inkbird'sproduct.
Hi, this's Alexi from INKBIRD. 😊We have Heat Mat and Digital Thermostat Controller that help to brew. Now a FREE product review test is proceeding. May I ask if you would be interested in it? The link for details is here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BMLT5CYB/. Looking forward to your reply.😃

Hello Alexi. Yes, I would be interested.
Much as gracias for your reply.
I’m very delighted to meet you. Would you mind if I asked some questions? Which country are you living in? Do you have an Amazon prime member and PayPal account?😊
Sure. I reside in the United States. I have an active Prime membership. I prefer not to use PayPal.
It‘s cool. It very simple to participate.
You need to order one Heat Mat and Digital Thermostat Controller with this link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BMLT5CYB/
Send me your order number and your Paypal (ONLY REFUND VIA PAYPAL);
Submit a review with pics and words on amazon, and send me the screenshot of the review on Amazon;
Finally, request a refund via your Paypal and let you know.
Does that work for you? Any reply is okay. Please feel free to talk.
Sorry, no. I'm not inclined to pay for a product first with a promise to be reimbursed later. If you'd like to provide a coupon code or voucher, I'm happy to try the product and provide an unbiased review.
